The Cystic Fibrosis Center offers a comprehensive team approach to the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of infants, children, adolescents and adults with cystic fibrosis.
Renowned for is focus on clinical research and education, the Comprehensive Cystic Fibrosis Center at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital has been by the National Cystic Fibrosis Center as one of 117 in the nation, and the only in the region as an accredited CF center.

A Multidisciplinary Team of Specialists
Our team of specialists consists of pediatric pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, nutritionists, advanced practice nurses, physical therapists and social workers. Additional expertise from interventional radiologists, physical therapists, pharmacologists, and respiratory technologists is available if needed.
With an emphasis on prevention and treatment of complications, the Comprehensive Cystic Fibrosis Center team of specialists focuses on treating both the patient and their family throughout the patient’s lifespan, into adulthood.
At 18 years, patients transition to the BMSCH Cystic Fibrosis Center Adult Program where they can expect the same quality care and compassion which they have grown accustomed to.
Support For Patients and Families
Several support groups are in operation for both patients and their parents. A special child health services grant is available for qualified patients.
