Our Pediatric Transport and Outreach Program, made up of specially trained doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists and emergency technicians, is available 24-hours-a day, seven-days-a-week. A fully equipped mobile pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) is available to transfer the sickest, most medically fragile infant or child from any hospital in the tri-state area.
Within moments after calling 1-866-66-BMSCH (26724) you will speak with a member of out Pediatric Transport and Outreach Program. You will then be connected to a pediatric intensive care physician, who will receive further information about your patient’s condition and be available for advice until we arrive at your facility.
Members of our transport team will arrive in a state-of-the-art ambulance outfitted for a full range of pediatric intensive care services.
The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital is also equipped to receive patients by helicopter on our hospital-based landing pad.
